About Turuki Healthcare

Turuki Health Care was established in 1995 by a group of forward-thinking Māori midwives. These hard-working and dedicated women offered highly needed services to at-risk pregnant women and their babies in South Auckland. From these humble beginnings, Turuki is now one of the largest kaupapa Māori providers in Auckland, offering a comprehensive range of primary health care and social services to around 26500 people every year. Everything that we do is ultimately focused on achieving Wahine Oranga, Whānau Oranga.
